Sandringham Master Plan

Sandringham is located at the south end of Botany Bay foreshore. We have been asked to assess this section of a foreshore with its diverse foreshore environment. A number of issues will need to be  evaluated including a widespread sand dune erosion, cycleway widening, assessment of existing street lighting, existing trees and refurbishment of existing ocean baths area. Our objective is to really look at a longterm plan of how to create a place of destination rather than a thoroughfare. Our thinking extends beyond just replacing old infrastructure but looks at how to add a local character to the place and how people would use the foreshore to its best potential, yet without damaging the environment. This project is in progress.
