Wesley College Study Pods
It has been a delight to follow the developments of Wesley College’s new open ‘crypt garden’, which was recently completed in response to a student demand for more outdoor study spaces. Umbaco Landscape Architects created a series of enclosed pods equipped with laptop tables and power points, ideal for individual study but also configured to suit group study or more relaxed gatherings. Shaded by large mature fig trees, the pods followed a narrow deco granite path along the green leading to the rest of the campus. Discreet green hedges provide delineation around each pod.
